Achromatic cemented cylindrical lenses are advanced cylindrical lenses designed to eliminate chromatic aberration. They are made by cementing two types of glass with different optical properties together, thus providing superior image quality compared to ordinary cylindrical lenses while achieving one-dimensional beam shaping.
