The 30°-60°-90° Litterrow dispersion prism is a specially designed triangular prism. Its core feature is that it can achieve two completely different functions by whether or not the same optical component is coated: it can be used as a dispersive element to separate the spectrum, or as a fixed deflection element to change the direction of the light path.
