Home / Custom / Optical Components / Optical Prism / Cube Beamsplitter Cube beamsplitter is not a simple prism, it is formed by cementing together the beveled faces of two right-angled prisms. One of the beveled faces is coated with a beam-splitting coating, and all light-transmitting surfaces are typically coated with AR coating to minimize reflection loss. Compared to traditional flat beamsplitters, it does not produce ghosting or beam shift, the transmitted and reflected light have equal optical path lengths, and it is robust and stable in performance.
