Home / Custom / Optical Components / Optical Window / Witness Samples Coating on different optical surfaces, including spherical, aspherical, planar, etc., but how to better detect the performance of thin film? The usual landscape photometer detection systems are suitable for plane detection, from which the witness samples are derived. Through the witness sample, the transmittance, reflectivity, actual applicable temperature, moderate and so on of the film can be detected.
Measure transmittance and reflectance to verify that the optical thickness and spectral curve of the coating meet the standards. Ensure the accuracy of optical parameters such as the center wavelength of the filter and the anti-reflection effect of the lens.
Ensure that all products produced in the same batch have uniform coating thickness and consistent performance.
Conduct environmental aging tests on test pieces and products together, including high temperature, high humidity, salt spray, and friction. Predict the durability of the coating in actual use, such as scratch resistance, corrosion resistance, and aging resistance.
Conduct adhesion tests such as tape peeling, or observe coating defects under a microscope. Prevent problems such as coating delamination and peeling during use.
